"And My Soul Wells Up With Hallelujahs"

November 18th:
From the first screaming hug hello to the last hug goodbye. Today was.
It is hard to believe that today marked the end of the year for camp, and my oh my what a year it has been. To tell you the truth, I woke up this morning with the feeling of christmas. From the moment I stepped out of the apartment, the air around me was full of joy. Though I saw many people looking flustered from the stress of everything to be done, I couldn't help but smile because I knew that in a matter of hours I was going to get to see my staff family. One by one they began to show up, and the hellos were far better than I could tell you. Activity time was great because I got to watch my actual family kick some serious butt up on the AP, but most importantly I was so proud to show them what I do and how God is moving through me. Afterwards, we gathered at the Burning Bush for a little program and that's when it really hit me. This summer was one for the books. God chose me to be apart of an incredible staff and I am still amazed at his works. and so so so very thankful. My bosses are probably the best people I've ever met. My staff family are the very bestest friends I could have. and together, we serve a HUGE God, who blesses us beyond measure every single day. I bit into my potato (the sharpie wasn't working!) and said a prayer as a placed it in the basket. And because God blessed us so much this summer, I am certain that the future family camp project will be better than ever dreamed. His faithfulness is unwavering. Even in the little things he is faithful. All weekend, God allowed me to be mobile! For anyone who knows my life lately, pain has been a big thing and the fact that my ankles did not hurt all weekend was surely a gift from God! As I drove home tonight, I could not stop thinking about how wonderful of a day today was. To laugh and to hug and to celebrate with people I love so so much is one of the best ways God says, "i love you this much."
I can't help but think about how much my soul is welling up with hallelujahs.
He is Good - All the Time.
