This past week has become my genesis. It's become evident that I cannot continue the way I have been living. It's time I put away the bad and replace it with the good. My perspective must also change. Since school started, I'm afraid I've fallen into the place I swore I'd never go. This is unlike me and mostly due to extreme changes, but I've learned that my happiness does not depend on the circumstances and people in my life. I am responsible for my own happiness. and I've come to the conclusion that life happens. sometimes life hurts for no good reason, but the way you react to those hardships defines you. It's clear that I have forgotten these principles lately and I intend on standing strong and finally being happy.

so here's to a new beginning. here's to finally letting everything go.
