To Another Year

This past year was one of massive change. It was the year I basically set my sights on from the time I could finally reach the kitchen counter. From January to December, this year was packed with adventure, heart ache, joy, and sadness, but through all things the Lord has been good. I would give you a list of my favorite songs if I could or a LONG list of lessons I learned or "goals" that I have set for the new year. but all of those things would be too hard to fit into "just a list" -- but I'd like to share some of my favorite moments of 2013 with you if I might.

Here's some of my most memorable moments:

Two foot surgeries (and some major healing from the Lord)

 that has now given me the ability to walk without pain

Graduating from Oakland High School

working for my 2nd summer at New Frontiers

and getting beat by Miranda in a cake eating contest

working in Eleuthra, Bahamas for a whole week with this awesome crew

Being greeted by this face in the airport and celebrating 2 years of friendship with best

attending the worst ever backpacking trip of all time with the greatest group of humans ever.

Taking my 2nd trip to Cap Haitien, Haiti

Stepping out in faith and teaching the Haitians about the gospel

Attending the Experience church and getting Baptized there in August!

Making new friends over fall break on the AT

Meeting all these gems and living life with them this semester at the University of Tennessee - Knoxville #govols

I can't wait to see what 2014 has in store.
